February is here, it’s cold, we are confined …
It’s time to make a mask!
Taking care of ourselves automatically puts us in a better mood, and our skin, attacked by the cold and dryness due to the internal heating, will really thank you!
Here is a quick recipe for a pink clay mask.
Why pink clay? Because it is indicated for more sensitive skins.
You’re going to need:
- A bowl
- Pink clay
- One tablespoon
- One teaspoon
- A vegetable oil (I recommend jojoba for skin that tends to produce a little too much sebum)
- Possibly an essential oil
NB: This mask is made to be used directly after its creation, it cannot be kept.
In a bowl, mix a good tablespoon of pink clay with water (until the desired consistency is obtained). You want to obtain a paste that is not too liquid.
Add a teaspoon of the oil of your choice.
And 1 drop only of essential oil (I often put a drop of true lavender essential oil).
- Apply all over the face and neckline if you have any left over with a brush
- Leave on for 10-15 min
- Rinse with clear water
- This is the perfect time to apply an elixir to your skin and let it absorb all its natural virtues.
